This application requires administrator privileges to install VPN networking components. You will be prompted to enter your password during installation.

💡 About the VPN Service

Cosmos Cloud installs a background service that manages secure network connections. This service:

Starts automatically when your Mac boots
Runs only when VPN is active
Is automatically removed when you uninstall the app

Installation Process

The installer will:

Check for and remove any existing VPN service
Install the Cosmos Cloud application
Set up the VPN service components
Configure proper permissions

Uninstallation

To remove Cosmos Cloud:

Drag cosmos_cloud.app to the Trash
The VPN service will be automatically cleaned up

No manual service removal is required.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues:

Ensure you have administrator privileges
Check that no other VPN software is running
Restart your Mac after installation if VPN connections fail

No personal data is sent to external servers
Connection logs are stored locally only
